Stator Cut Off Machines
Stator cut off machines are used to assist with dismantling electric motors as part of the rewind and repair process. The stator cut off machine is part of the recommended process for dismantling electric motors prior to rewinding. The standard reference is BS EN IEC 60034-23-2019 and the process includes a burn off oven and a coil pulling machine, both of which are available from Rotary.
Stator Cut Off Machines are used to cut end windings from electrical motors quickly without damaging laminations. This simple and reliable piece of equipment is widely used in workshops worldwide. There are two models in the range, a bench mounted machine for stators up to 450mm bore and a larger floor standing machine for stators up to 1100mm bore.
